ARTISAN

LOUNGE

Located at the hub of the “Opera Theatre” at K11 MUSEA Grand Atrium, Artisan Lounge is a showcase of creativity and inspiration, which aims to achieve the mission of becoming the “Silicon Valley of Culture” –under the glimmering lights of the Gold Ball, the multi-cultural exhibition space. Artisan Lounge was designed by Hong Kong-based architecture studio LAAB Architect, one of the 100 Creative Powers. Led by Co-founder and Design Director Otto Ng, the entire team of young architects at LAAB were born in the 1980s. Graduated at MIT, Otto specializes in adopting science, mechanics and nature in architectural design, the “Garden Restroom” in the Salisbury Garden and “Harbour Kiosk” at the Avenue of Stars were some of his more famous projects.

Inspired by the elegant, sophisticated “manor-like” concept of K11 MUSEA, Artisan Lounge is decked in burgundy and metallic bronze, a ‘living and dining room’ concept that oozes sophistication, seamlessly blends with the concept of the opera theatre which takes inspiration as a cosmos of galaxy, as Otto Ng explained. “Artisan Lounge is designed to surprise and delight the senses at every turn. As artistic muse blends with artisanal hospitality, we added a unique dimension to this new cultural-retail destination,” he said.

Oozing with sophistication, the innovative three-in-one ‘living and dining room’ design concept champions artisanal hospitality with an all-day café, elegant bar and bespoke boutique for premium teas, handcrafted confectionaries and high-quality souvenirs.
